Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development and execution of effective strategies, test plans, test cases, and ensure adequate test coverage

• Test a web application (frontend React, backend Java), to ensure they meet quality standards for the client

• Communicate with product and engineering leads to understand business and project objective

• Execute test procedures to verify functionality against specs and product requirements

• Highly autonomous

• Familiarity with an OOP or scripting programming language is highly desirable

Skills and Expertise:

Fundamentals:

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms

• Basic knowledge of the software development lifecycle, continuous integration pipelines, and software methodologies

• Proficiency in at least one programming language DevOps Tools and Technologies:

• Proficiency in at least one continuous integration platform (e.g., Jenkins, GitlabCI, Github Actions, AWS CodeDeploy)

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS SAM/CDK, Ansible)

• Experience with containerization, orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and deployment configurations

• Proficiency in managing cloud provider services

• Experience: Over 6 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE
